NAKIVO Discloses Q2 2018 Results and Revenue Growth of 84% in the Asia-Pacific Region

NAKIVO announces 84% revenue growth in the Asia-Pacific region in Q2 2018 vs. Q2 2017, continues to maintain a steady growth rate in the VMware, Hyper-V, and Amazon EC2 backup markets worldwide.

In Q2 2018, NAKIVO achieved the following:

Revenue Bookings: In Q2 2018, NAKIVO increased revenue bookings by 43% worldwide vs. Q2 2017, with revenue in the Asia-Pacific region growing by 84%. Exactly half of the revenue bookings (50%) came from the EMEA region, 38% came from the Americas, and 12% came from the Asia-Pacific region. The United States, Germany, and Italy were again the highest producers of revenue in Q2 2018. NAKIVO experienced QoQ revenue growth of more than 100% in South Africa, Australia, Turkey, Greece, Singapore, Latvia, Bulgaria, the British Virgin Islands, Luxembourg, and Serbia.

Customers: In Q2 2018, most of NAKIVO’s new customers came from the EMEA region (67%), while 23% came from the Americas and 10% came from the Asia-Pacific region. Overall, NAKIVO experienced YoY customer base growth of 49% in Q2 2018. As of Q2 2018, NAKIVO has customers in 115 countries worldwide. The company has expanded into Iceland, Mauritius, Suriname, and the Cook Islands for the first time.

Solution Partners: NAKIVO has increased the number of their solution provider partners by 40% in Q2 2018 vs. Q2 2017. In Q2 2018, 316 new solution providers joined the NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer NAKIVO products to their enterprise as well as SMB customers. NAKIVO now has approximately 3,000 software solution providers as Partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East, and the Asia-Pacific region. Solution Partners from Brunei, Liberia, and Montenegro have joined the NAKIVO Partner Program for the first time.

Cloud Providers: NAKIVO’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), VM Replication-as-a-Service (RaaS), and VM Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) for their customers using NAKIVO Backup & Replication. In Q2 2018, NAKIVO has increased the number of qualified Cloud Providers to 215. Cloud providers from Zambia, Sri Lanka, South Korea, and Ecuador have joined the NAKIVO Cloud Provider Program for the first time.

Product Releases: In Q2 2018, NAKIVO released NAKIVO Backup & Replication v7.4, which includes automated VM failover for near-instant disaster recovery, file recovery to source, self-backup, and other useful features.
