NAKIVO Announces 2023 EMEA Revenue Growth of 13%

NAKIVO concludes 2023 with EMEA revenue growth of 13 percent worldwide as the company continues accelerating in the backup and disaster recovery market for physical, virtual, cloud, and SaaS environments.

In 2023, the following was achieved:

Revenue: In 2023, NAKIVO’s revenue in Europe grew by 13% compared to 2022. Total revenue worldwide grew by 8% in 2023 vs. 2022. Of the total revenue in 2023, 56% came from the EMEA region, 31% came from the Americas, and 13% came from the Asia-Pacific region. The United States, Germany, and Italy were the highest revenue producers for NAKIVO in 2023.

NAKIVO’s revenue grew more than 100% YoY in Greece, Algeria, British Virgin Islands, Egypt, Estonia, Ghana, Guatemala, Mauritius, Montenegro, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, and Zimbabwe.

Customers: Currently, NAKIVO has over 27,000 paid customers in 182 countries. The customer base grew by 13% in 2023 vs. 2022. The number of new customers grew by 13% in the EMEA region, by 14% in the Asia-Pacific region, and by 11% in the Americas. In Q4 2023, NAKIVO expanded into Cape Verde and Eswatini for the first time. Enterprises continue to choose NAKIVO Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 11% in 2023 vs. 2022.

A sample of customers in Q4 2023 includes UC San Diego, Crealogix AG, Northwest Open Access Network, Isel, Walterfedy, and others.

Some examples of customer success stories in Q4 2023 include: Ottoman’s Life Hotel, Dita EstFarm, and Orleans Southwest Supervisory Unit.

Technology Partners: In 2023, NAKIVO successfully delivered NAKIVO Backup & Replication via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install NAKIVO Backup & Replication on partner hardware. Mainly, ASUSTOR NAS installations grew by 10% in 2023 vs. 2022.

Solution Partners: Today, NAKIVO has over 8,000 software solution providers as Partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. In Q4 2023, 198 new solution providers joined the NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer NAKIVO products to their enterprise and SMB customers. In Q3 2023, partners from Benin and Myanmar joined for the first time.

Managed Service Providers: NAKIVO’s Managed Service Provider Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM backup as a service (BaaS), VM replication as a service (RaaS), and VM disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) for their customers. In 2023, the number of managed service providers grew by 18% vs. 2022.

Product Releases: In 2023, NAKIVO released the following product versions:

v10.8 with VMware vSphere 8 support, MSP console, and hybrid cloud backup
v10.9 with bare-metal recovery, direct recovery from tape, and backup malware scan
v10.10 with real-time replication (beta) for VMware
v10.10.1 with VMware vSphere 8 update support
