VM Failover

Use VMware vSphere Replication and Microsoft Hyper-V Replication to create exact point-in-time replicas of VMs in a new location. Configure the failover workflow to instantly switch to one or several VM replicas when a machine or the entire production site fails.

Amazon EC2 Instance Failover

Create replicas of Amazon EC2 instances using the Amazon EC2 Instance Replication feature. If production EC2 instances fail, you can switch to their replicas within the same AWS region using Automated Failover. Configure failover to one or multiple Amazon EC2 instance replicas within one workflow.

Automated Network Mapping

NAKIVO Backup & Replication saves you time and effort by automatically connecting replicas to the selected networks.

• For VMs: You can create, save and edit rules for network mapping and re-IP. The solution connects replicas to another network and changes replicas’ IP addresses based on your rules.

• For Amazon EC2 instances: Set target Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and configure Amazon EC2 network adapter options, including subnet, available zone, security group and primary IP address.

Configuration Flexibility

Configure whom to send an email report after the failover is completed. You can also power off source VMs and EC2 instances on the production site to ensure that they don’t interfere with booted replicas.
